The American economic war against the civilian citizens, and the alimentary and the medicinal sanction of Iran is a belligerent offence


 

Dr. Mohammad Javad Zarif, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, says:  The usage of the word "sanction" for the activities of the United States has no legal bases. When the Central Bank changes from SDN list to SDGT list, it will be difficult to buy some items like food and medicine. This act is considered as a belligerent offense.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs mentioned, in the "International Conference on Global Economy and Sanctions" holding  in 9 October 2019 at Alzahra University, that: America stabilizes the economic war in contravention of the international rules. The current activates of America has no regard for applying sanction against Iran. Instead, the present situation incurs economic terrorism and warlike crime.

This conference is held with the contribution of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology and the Center for International Scientific Studies and Collaboration (CISSC) at Alzahra University. Dr. Zarif deliberated about the hostile policies of America against Iran. He elucidated the terms like sanction and economic terrorism. The activities of this country do violate the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, which is based on the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2231. He continues that the implementation of these plans and decisions are both illegal and entailing in violation of law.

Dr.Zarif expresses to cause famishment is a further proof of belligerent offense and terrorism is confirmation of international offense.  Terrorism and economic war aim at the civilian citizens. As result, they are warlike crime.

Alzahra University, a prominent institution of higher education found in 1960, is the core center for intellectual thinkers. This university, mostly, hosts the national and international conferences and events.
