Instructions of the Green Management Student Committee

In the green management program, universities are responsible in addition to managing energy consumption, water, raw materials and equipment, waste reduction and recycling, lighting system control, heating systems, refrigeration, and air conditioning, etc. in creating a suitable environment for promoting and institutionalize green management and provide strategies tailored to the university. One of the main parts of the university that should be considered and planned separately in this regard is the student dormitory. Life, activity, and energy consumption in the student dormitory are established around the clock. More importantly, students living in the dormitory are among the most influential and future-oriented age groups and social classes in the community that invest in education. And cultivating them in the fields of green management can have tremendous effects on the future of society. Looking at a student dormitory in a green direction is different from looking at other parts of the university, so there is a need for separate planning for this part of the university in green management. The existence of a student committee with members who have more knowledge of the conditions governing student housing can significantly advance the goals of green university management.
